What is the E.ON Sustainable Business Fund?

The E.ON Sustainable Business Fund has been set up to help E.ON small and medium business customers who are struggling to pay their bills to remain financially sustainable.

The fund can help to clear energy debts which are held with E.ON on a business account for gas or electricity.

The fund is also able to support businesses to become more sustainable through its comprehensive e-learning programme, which enables business owners the opportunity to learn or refresh core business skills. To benefit from our e-learning programme you will need to have access to an internet enabled computer or tablet.

Who can apply?

The E.ON Sustainable Business Fund is open to current E.ON small and medium business customers living in England, Scotland or Wales, and who've been with E.ON for more than 12 months. Applicants must be referred to the fund by the E.ON SME Customer Services Team before they can make an application.

What will happen when I apply?

When you make an application to the E.ON Sustainable Business Fund, you will be asked to provide information about you and your business. If you are eligible you will be contacted by one of our accountant partners who will arrange to have a meeting with you to discuss the challenges that your business is facing. This meeting will be a positive opportunity to begin to address these challenges.

After your meeting we will be able to assess your application for support from the fund, and we, or the E.ON SME Customer Services Team, will be back in contact with you.

Applying to the Fund again

  • If you're a successful applicant of the fund, you cannot reapply to the fund for a period of 36 months from when the award is made.
  • If your application is unsuccessful, you can reapply after three months if your circumstances change.
